Elena

Elena was born in Piedmont but it was Milan that offered her the opportunity to approach Yoga in all its forms. The call was too strong to ignore, despite a career in interior design. Her studies in the field of design have allowed her to appreciate the beautiful, the good, the useful and the essential. Yoga was a choice that led Elena to change her life, to dedicate herself completely to the discipline, to deepening her path and helping those who feel they want to align with their purpose in life, the dharma.

What do you have for breakfast in the morning?

A cup of cappuccino with almond milk and a sprinkling of cinnamon with biscuits or a homemade cake.

What is the first thing you do every morning to start your day the best way?

Breakfast! It is the moment when my mind is not busy thinking and I decide how to organise my day.

What would you write on a billboard in the centre of your city?

Flowers need time to bloom. So do you.

Do you have rituals that help you feel more confident with yourself?

A good beauty routine and choosing the right colour to dress to reflect my mood.

What comes to your mind when you think of the word ‘success’?

Success as personal growth. It doesn't matter where you are in life in the eyes of others but from where you started.

If you were invited to speak at a conference and you didn't have to talk about your work, what would you talk about?

At a conference I would talk about self-confidence, about dreams and about believing in them, always.

Is there anything you believe in that other people find crazy?

In the power of imagination. If you can imagine it, you can create it.

What human characteristic most appeals to you?

The ability to make big concepts simple.

Three people you would invite for dinner if you had the chance and why.

Coco Chanel, my muse. Her story taught me that in life you can be whatever you want. Roberto Bolle, for his discipline and great humility. Walt Disney for making me believe in dreams.

Do you tend to choose courage or comfort?

Courage, always. I don't like habits (breakfast aside) and I love reinventing myself in a thousand different ways. Life changes are what characterises me.

If you could change your job for a day, what would you become?

Prima ballerina.

Do you have any favourite podcasts? Which ones would you suggest?

Morgana. My absolute favourite. Stories of women, of great women at times uncomfortable.

Describe your practice in three words.

My practice is smart, intense and precise.
